Sailing vessel Dafne in the Whitsundays.
The good ship Dafne II at anchor in the Whitsundays.

Well, after years of working with bloggers/influencers and running Context’s blog I’ve finally launched my own personal blog. I don’t have any big, clear plan for this other than having a place to record my thoughts on travel, business, and life.

Since Lani and I are currently sailing on our third world voyage, I imagine that there will also be a bunch of stuff about sailing—well, probably mostly about fixing boats, which seems to currently occupy the bulk of my time.

Another dominant theme will probably be homeschooling. We have three kids aboard, and I spend a bunch of my time puzzling through pre-calculus and Hamlet with my kids.

Lastly, I’m in a phase now where I’m starting to toss around ideas for a new business, using all my learning from Context. I’m reading tons and having lots of cool conversations—usually over a rickety internet connection from the middle of nowhere. This will be a place where I’ll test some of those ideas out.

Ok, tide is changing and I need to pull up the anchor….
